A German roasted malted wheat berry typically used in the beer brewing process, tumbled in Moonstruck's signature dark chocolate.
In the beer process roasted malted wheat is used to make dark beer such as found in Guinness or other stout beers.
There isn’t any beer to be found in beer berries- the name is derived from the beer making process, alone. Should you discover a coffee flavor while tasting it, it is the combination of dark chocolate and the roasting of the wheat berries that you are experiencing.
While visiting a brewery and learning about the beer making process, our Master Chocolatier and Master Chocolate Tumbler discovered the unique flavors of this ingredient and determined to use it in this exciting new tumbled chocolate product.
