MOONSTRUCK CHOCOLATE-ENROBED DRAGSTER HITS THE TRACK
Chocolate at 200 miles per hour! Known for enrobing fresh, decadent flavors in fine chocolate, Moonstruck is now coating a new vehicle: a dragster. As the primary sponsor of Sadie Floyd Racing for the 2012 season, Moonstruck Chocolate Co. and its signature crescent moon logo against a midnight-blue sky are featured in a full-wrap covering her dragster. Team Sadie Floyd has a brand new look and is now ‘Powered by Chocolate!’
Meet Drag Racer Sadie Floyd
Moonstruck Chocolate is sponsoring a dragster-driving superstar-on-the-rise!
Sadie struck us as such a remarkable and inspirational young woman, who has overcome cancer and reaches out to her community. It’s an honor to be part of her crew this year.
Sadie will be competing in the top dragster class all across the National Hot Rod Association’s Northwest Division and select Pacific Division races. The 2012 season takes her – and her Moonstruck Chocolate-powered car – to racetracks around the western U.S. and Canada.
Sadie grew up in a racing family and was introduced to the sport of drag racing at the age of 10. She got behind the wheel of a junior dragster the following year, which also marked five years since being declared cancer free; at the age of two, she had been diagnosed with acute lymphoblasticleukemia. Now, as a 22-year-old college student, Floyd uses racing as an opportunity to build awareness of blood cancers and children’s cancer.
