NEW! DRINKING CHOCOLATE
Brewed as a drink, offered to Gods during tribal rituals and used as currency, chocolate has quite a storied history. Drinking chocolate is one of the first ways chocolate was enjoyed and we at Moonstruck are proud to present our version. It took us a while to find the perfect chocolate to use and the ratio to get the consistency just right but Julian Rose, our Master Chocolatier, has done it again!

Served exclusively in our cafés, our drinking chocolate is a decadent, made-to-order experience, with your choice of single origin chocolate. We offer a 4 oz. drink with a complementary square of the single origin chocolate for $4 for our Venezuelan and Dominican Republic chocolates and $5 for our Fortunato No. 4 chocolate.

Choose from the following chocolates:
68% Fortunato No. 4 Dark Chocolate: Made from Pure Nacional cacao, the newly released chocolate reintroduces the long-deprived world to rare and complex flavors of fruit, flora, nut and coffee. Pure Nacional was among the most coveted varieties of cacao in the 1800s, and its resurgence is a delight to chocolate lovers worldwide. Fortunato No. 4 is one of the finest expressions of Pure Nacional, delivering a special combination of complex, lingering and memorable flavors.

74% Venezuelan Dark Chocolate: An amazingly bold chocolate with 74 percent cacao content for real dark chocolate lovers. With a very complex floral and ripe fruit “nose” this pure Venezuelan chocolate has top notes of ripe raspberries, dried figs, prunes and black currant. Middle notes consist of tobacco and citrus, slightly acidic and astringent with a long finish.

72% Dominican Republic Dark Chocolate: Containing 72 percent cacao, this chocolate has intense pure origin dark chocolate from one of the greatest cocoa regions in the world. The chocolate is a light reddish color, with flavor rich in character featuring top notes of rare cocoa beans, orange zest and citrusy accents. Middle notes include robust red wine with dried prunes and blackberries, rounded out with a complex floral finish.

39% Venezuelan Milk Chocolate: This chocolate has low sweetness and full chocolate flavor. The chocolate features top notes of artfully roasted cocoa beans and the slight acidity of lemon zest. Middle notes include dried prunes, full grain leather and butter cookies with a delicate roasted nutty finish.
